In the Elizabethan times women used to pluck there eye brows to create a high forehead, for this was considered to be beautiful. Today fashion looks in the catwalks do it by concealing the brow in different ways. those cud be by using glue stick or soap to achieve this.

For this week i have learnt how to remove the eyebrow using glue stick of soap.

Make sure that the models as been gowned, to protect their
clothing.
Do consultations to find out if there is any contraindications/medical
history or allergy’s that could affect the application or the choice of product
to be used.
What to use
Glue stick
A spatula
Mascara wand
Eyebrow brow
White foundation base for look 1
Normal foundation on look 2
Illamasqua loss powder
Small application brush
Practice looks one. (Elizabethan) practice
- Comb brows in a downward direction using a brush or clean mascara wand.
- Apply a layer of Glue Stick using a metal spatula, and smooth over.
- Before glue is set, comb brows back up into the proper position and smooth over with another layer of glue to create a flat surface.
- Once glue is dry, dust with loss powder and coat with a final layer of glue to keep flyway’s at bay.
- Then apply the white foundation all over the face
- Finish by applying loss powder all over the face to set everything in place.

Then With a small makeup sponge,
apply the concealer by dabbing concealer over the brows and blend out.

Evaluation
The fast look is more Elizabethan compared to the second look;
however the coverage of the eyebrow is much better on the second look than the
fast. On the fast the eyebrows are still visible but flat.
The use of concealer for the second look helped give it a
better coverage. Therefor in the future I will use concealer first before
applying the foundation for any look I do.
