elizabethan contemporary practice look 1 and 2

looking at this image of am Elizabethan woman, the one thing thats stands out to me is the cheek colour. i have been inspired to create a look with a bright cheek colour.

This is my fast Elizabethan look face chart.
I used a foundation a little lighter than my skin completion for this look. This makes the look more contemporary. The red cheek and lips is more Elizabethan and also the covered eyebrow also makes it Elizabethan

For this look I mixed my foundation with the white Illamasqua foundation to lighten the foundation a little.
I started by blocking out the eyebrow using glue stick. I made sure to powder after to set the glue in place. I proceeded to applying concealer to the eyebrow and then foundation all over my face.
For the cheeks I used the kyryolan blusher palate colour pink. I started out by contouring the side of my face using the pink brusher, and then blended it up words towards the forehead.

For the lips I mixed gold and red from the kyryolen super colour palate.

Looking at the two look with the eyebrow on I can see that it douse not look Elizabethan it just looks like an ordinary makeup look, however when the eyebrow has been taken off in the third look, then it looks more Elizabethan.

Am not yet satisfied with this look so I will keep on practising and experimenting till i get the perfect contemporary makeup.

look 2

In this look i decided not to completely remove the eyebrow, i used gold over it instead. i also used pink on the cheeks and the lips to give it that Elizabethan fill. the use of gold is what make the look contemporary. i have used it on the eye lids the eyebrow and  the canter of the lip.
